Brian Wood
MC veteran talks about mental battle & witch-hunt
About This Episode
Today I have the incredible honour of welcoming Brian Wood MC, Sunday Times best selling Author, former Colour Sergeant in the Princess of Wales´s Royal regiment to my show. Brian was awarded the military cross for his courageous leadership in Iraq in the battle of Danny Boy 14th May 2004.
Brian suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and struggled to reintegrate back into family life. Years later, a public inquiry accused Brian and other soldiers of war crimes during the IRAQ invasion…
After 5 years of public shame Brian’s name was cleared and the inquiry was dismissed without foundation.
Brian is now producing a major film on his life story…
